Janelle is a marine scientist working at the intersection of ocean data analysis, climate risk intelligence, and public-facing scientific communication. Her research focuses on satellite-derived environmental datasets, and coastal system change.

She founded the Museum of Ocean Science as an independent ocean data lab dedicated to structured, reproducible research and clear environmental reporting.

Jenny is a UX Director who believes design can be a catalyst for understanding, connection, and change.

She specializes in designing accessible, human-centered experiences that help people navigate complex information and systems. Her background spans technology, healthcare, and climate initiatives, where she combines research, strategy, and inclusive design practices to create meaningful solutions.

At the Museum of Ocean Science, Jenny leads UX direction, focusing on making ocean science approachable, engaging, and accessible for learners of all backgrounds.

Cayla is a former Aquarist, Lab Technician, Wildlife Rehabilitator, Veterinary Assistant and Zookeeper turned digital Swiss Army Knife with a keen interest in Notion.

When she's not freelancing, she illustrates, hikes, and participates in volunteer Citizen Science projects for her community in northern California.
